Hoosiers Fall to Michigan to Close Out Big Ten Slate

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Sophomore Lachlan Ferguson won his fourth straight Big Ten singles match to close out the conference schedule. The team battle went to #48 Michigan as the #53 Hoosiers took one singles match and one doubles match for a 6-1 Wolverine win.
#114 Ferguson defeated #94 Jason Jung in straight sets. The Adelaide, Australia native took the first set 7-5 and the second by a 6-4 tally. Ferguson will head into the Big Ten Championships having won six conference matches, all at number one singles.
The Hoosiers also got a win at number three doubles. Senior Peter Antons and freshman Maxime Armengaud took down Peter Aarts and Mike Sroczynski by a 8-4 score. The win means that Antons closes out his regular season career with a victory.
