BLOOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Women's Tennis concluded the regular season last week and is set to begin postseason play on Friday (Apr. 24) at the Big Ten Championship. The Hoosiers earned the No. 5 seed and will face fourth-seeded Ohio State in the quarterfinals after receiving a first-round bye.
The quarterfinals will begin at 10 a.m. central time (11 a.m. eastern) and live stats throughout the tournament can be found by clicking here.
#45 Indiana and the Buckeyes clashed recently on Apr. 12 in a regular season match-up that went in favor of Ohio State. It marked the final weekend of a six-week stretch in which the Hoosiers were on the road for five of those weeks. IU controls a hefty lead in the all-time series, however, winning 30 of 36 meetings between the two schools.
The Hoosiers and #38 Ohio State enter Friday's contest with identical overall records of 14-9 while OSU is 7-3 in conference play and IU went 6-4.
