Cheerleading Selects Teams for 2009-10

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University Cheerleading program has announced its 2009-2010 members. Candidates took part in a two-day team selection process April 10-11, 2009.
The Cream (co-ed) Squad will consist of eight women and 12 men. This includes three new female and five new male team members. The Crimson (all - female) Squad consists of 33 members. This team returns 18 members and welcomes 15 new members.
IU's cheerleading program has all four coaches returning for 2009-2010. Head coach Julie Clements returns for her 21st year coaching the Indiana Hoosiers. Joining her as assistant coaches are Jeff Cox (eight years), Marcus Wolfe (seven years) and Ricci Bradley (six years).
"We have the opportunity to select new teams to represent Indiana University Athletics each April for the next school year," said Clements. "As coaches, we treat the selection process with an enormous amount of respect. We feel we have two outstanding teams that will represent all Hoosier fans for the upcoming year."
Also returning to the Indiana Cheerleading program as the Athletics Administrator is Chuck Crabb. Crabb has been a part of the Spirit Programs since 1979.
