Canada Shoots on the Pistol

The pistol is another formation in the Hoosiers' multiple offense.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Hoosier offense implemented the pistol offense as one if its multiple sets this spring. It was on full display at the first scrimmage of the spring last Saturday and will be again at this weekend's scrimmage.

Offensive coordinator Matt Canada, quarterback Ben Chappell, running back Bryan Payton and center Pete Saxon gave a demonstration on the intricacies of the formation and how it works. To watch the demonstration, click here.

The Hoosiers second scrimmage is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday. IU closes the spring at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 18.
