BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's soccer team will play its final away game of the spring season on Saturday when it takes on Missouri. The Hoosiers and Tigers will go head-to-head beginning at 1 p.m. CDT/2 p.m. EDT in St. Louis' Anheuser-Busch Soccer Park.
The Hoosiers enter this weekend 2-1-1 after a 3-0 loss to Purdue on Friday. IU has wins over IUPUI and Iowa State to its credit and a tie against Kentucky during the spring.
Mizzou is 2-1-0 this spring after a 2-1 victory over Purdue on April 5 in Columbia. The Tigers also defeated Minnesota but lost in an exhibition against St. Louis Athletica of the Women's Professional Soccer League.
IU will then close its spring with a pair of home games on April 18, against Ball State at noon and Indiana State at 4 p.m. The BSU game will be played at Armstrong Stadium, while the ISU contest will be held at the IU Women's Soccer Practice Field.
IU returns all 11 starters from the 2008 squad. The Hoosiers lost just 100 minutes of game action from last year's team. Indiana finished 8-10-1 with a 3-6-1 record in conference action.
