NCAA Regional Tailgate Set for Friday in Louisville

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University Alumni Association and the IU Varsity Club are hosting an NCAA Regional Tailgate on Friday night in Louisville in conjunction with the Indiana baseball team's contest against Louisville at Jim Patterson Stadium. The tailgate is scheduled to go from 5-6:45 p.m. with first pitch to follow at 7 p.m.
"Our fan base has been unbelievable this season," Head Coach Tracy Smith said. "We know that by playing in Louisville where there are a lot of IU fans we should have a great crowd. Our players are excited to be a part of what should be an amazing atmosphere Friday night and all weekend."
The tailgate will be held in the Green Lot between Louisville's football and baseball stadiums under the IU Tent. Admission is free to the tailgate with food and drinks available for purchase. Children five and under eat free at the tailgate, and all others can eat at the barbeque buffet for $10. A cash bar will also be available at the event.
The BBQ buffet will include:
Hamburgers
Hot dogs
Fruit Salad
Blue Cheese Slaw
Homemade Mac& Cheese
Chips
Cookies
Lemonade & Water
