BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Head football coach Bill Lynch threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Saturday afternoon's Indiana-Northwestern game at Sembower Field. Lynch tossed out a ceremonial first pitch for the second straight season and joined the Big Ten Network for a half inning in the broadcast booth in the third inning.

Tracy Smith's baseball Hoosiers won the contest, 5-2, completing a doubleheader sweep and improving to 13-6 in Big Ten play. IU is just two games behind first-place Minnesota and looks for the serious sweep over the Wildcats at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
