BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana field hockey team will make its first appearance of the season on the Big Ten Network on Oct. 18, with a 12 p.m. tape-delayed broadcast of their game against Northwestern, which will be played in Bloomington on Saturday, Oct. 17.

Three semifinal games and the championship game of the Big Ten Tournament, hosted by Michigan State, will be aired live on the network.

Head coach Amy Robertson and the Hoosiers open the 2009 season on Friday, Aug. 28, when they face American University in Richmond, Va., at 11 a.m. ET.
