BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University volleyball team took a much deserved day off on Sunday and hit the lake after an intense first week of two-a-day practices. CLICK HERE TO CHECK OUT PHOTOS.
IU Volleyball headed south of Bloomington for a trip to Lake Monroe. The day began with "Big Sister-Little Sister" pairs performing skits portraying one of Coach Dunbar's 11 "Building Blocks to Success." To make things more interesting, each duo had to act out the skits while following a certain theme (rap, caveman, country, etc.).
Once off dry land, the Hoosiers boarded a double-decker pontoon boat equipped with a slide and headed out onto the lake for the rest of the day.
The team got back to work early Monday morning, beginning week number two of preseason practice. Indiana starts the 2009 regular season on Friday, Aug. 28 with a three-match weekend tournament at the University of Houston.
