BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's basketball team uses a unique approach to each season in that it separates the entire year into four seasons and dedicates each one to a certain person, group or cause.
For each season, a player chooses what the focus will be for IU's community involvement and the team. Sophomore Sasha Chaplin has dedicated the Hoosiers' community service efforts to go towards safety awareness on the IU Bloomington campus in memory of Peter Duong.
Junior Whitney Lindsay has dedicated the team's preseason workouts to focus on hanging another banner in Assembly Hall this season.
Following the team's preseason workouts, two more Hoosiers will decide how they want to focus the team's efforts for the non-conference slate of the season.
