UNLV Spring Invitational Kicks Season off for IU

LAS VEGAS - Indiana men's tennis opens the 2010 season on Friday, January 8, when they will take part in the UNLV Spring Invitational. The 73rd-ranked UNLV Rebels will welcome competitors from No. 18 Alabama, No. 20 Louisville and No. 48 Indiana to the Fertitta Tennis Complex on the UNLV campus.

Freshman Josh MacTaggart enters the invitational ranked No. 119 in singles by the ITA, and sophomores Maxime Armengaud and Jeremy Langer are ranked No. 50 in doubles. The Hoosiers' national ranking of No. 48 is one spot higher than they finished the 2009 season.

All matches are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. PT and are free to the public.
