BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The 2009 campaign marked the Indiana football program's 50th season in Memorial Stadium. IUHoosiers.com will count down the top 12 games in Memorial Stadium history this season.
A panel consisting of former Hoosier player and Director of Operations Harold Mauro, former player and current Athletic Director for Football Operations Mark Deal, former IU radio analyst Max Skirvin, current Voice of the Hoosiers Don Fischer, current IU pre-game, post-game and halftime voice Joe Smith, Herald-Times reporter Lynn Houser, long-time Hoosier Sports Information Director and current IU Assistant Athletic Director Kit Klingelhoffer and long-time Herald-Times sports editor Bob Hammel deliberated and came up with a list of the top all-time games.
Fans then emailed their votes from this list, resulting in the top 12 games in Memorial Stadium history. Here is No. 5:
Indiana 21, Iowa 17

Harry Gonso's run for a first down on a faked field goal set up his game-winning touchdown pass to Jade Butcher with 50 seconds left. Down by three, Gonso hit Butcher for a four-yard score that sealed the deal.
The score was the second touchdown connection for the duo, as they hooked up for three-yard TD to get IU on the scoreboard. Butcher finished the year with 10 touchdown grabs. The Hoosiers also got into the end zone on a Mike Krivoshia plunge from the one-yard line.
