BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The IU women's basketball team is an active member of the Indiana University community through several functions in athletics and on campus.
On Friday, Oct. 1, IU Assistant Athletic Director for Women's Basketball Stephanie Siler and Video Coordinator Whitney Thomas attended the 2010 Leanne L. Grotke Awards Ceremony, where former Hoosier Sharon Czemerys (1971-72), along with IU Phenomenal Woman Barbara Siwy were honored.
On Sunday, Oct. 3, the Hoosiers attended the IU men's soccer match vs. Wisconsin and were introduced at halftime.
Indiana officially opens practice this week and will begin the 2010-11 schedule on Tuesday, Nov. 2, with an exhibition contest against Alaska-Anchorage at 7 p.m. ET in Assembly Hall.
