Evans, Belcher Named Wisconsin Game Captains

Junior wide receiver Damarlo Belcher is a game captain for the first time this season.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Head Football Coach Bill Lynch announced that senior safety Mitchell Evans and junior wide receiver will serve as game captains for Saturday's contest at Wisconsin. They will join season captains Ben Chappell and Tyler Replogle for the 11 a.m. EST/noon EST kickoff against the Badgers.

Chappell and Replogle were elected season captains by their teammates during the preseason, and the team's Leadership Council will vote on two other game captains each week to join them. Evans will serve as a captain for the third time this season, while Belcher is a captain for the first time.

Saturday's game will be televised on ESPN2. Bob Wischusen will handle play-by-play duties and he will be joined by Brian Griese (analyst) and Quint Kessenich (sideline). The game can also be heard on the statewide IU Radio Network with Don Fischer (play-by-play), Buck Suhr (analyst) and Joe Smith (pre-game, halftime and post-game) on the call.
