BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Hoosier Volleyball team (19-9, 7-9 Big Ten) flies to the Great Lakes State today (Nov. 18), headed to Michigan to take on the #20 Wolverines (21-7, 10-6) and MSU Spartans (12-15, 4-12).
A live audio broadcast for both matches will be available right here at IUHoosiers.com. Click here to listen in. In addition, Friday night's contest in East Lansing can be viewed online as BigTenNetwork.com streams the match live.
Indiana is looking for a repeat weekend of Oct. 22-23 earlier this season when the Hoosier topped these same two opponents at home. Indiana leads the all-time series over Michigan, 36-30-1; but despite three consecutive wins over MSU, the Hoosiers trail that all-time series, 28-40.
Caitlin Cox and Ashley Benson each have an opportunity to crack the school's all-time top-five in statistical accumulation for a season. Cox has dug 399 balls thus far, needing just three more to move into the top-five and 90 away from breaking her own single-season record 488 set in 2009. Meanwhile, Benson has racked up 135 blocks heading into the weekend, 17 short of the top-five. Just like Cox, Benson already owns the top slot after posting 167 stuffs in 2008.
