THE OPENING TIP
The Hoosiers wrap up exhibition play when they take on the University of Indianapolis in Assembly Hall on Saturday, Nov. 6, at 4 p.m. ET.
LAST TIME OUT
The Indiana women's basketball team topped Alaska-Anchorage, 72-49, in exhibition play in Assembly Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010.
Senior All-America candidate Jori Davis led all players with 16 points, while senior Hope Elam added 15 points. Redshirt sophomore Sasha Chaplin added a game-high 13 rebounds, 10 on the offensive glass, to along with eight points and two blocked shots.
The Hoosiers and Seawolves fought point-for-point throughout the first half as Alaska-Anchorage took a 28-27 lead into the break.
In the second half, Indiana came out on a 12-3 run to take a 39-31 lead with 13:37 on the clock. The Seawolves came back by outscoring IU, 7-3, to cut the Hoosiers lead to four, 42-38, with 11:30 to go in the game. However, a free throw from Lindsay sparked an 8-0 run that increased the IU advantage to 12, 50-38, with 9:36 to go in the game. The Hoosiers went on to lead by as many as 23 en route to the 71-49 win.
Davis shot just 2-of-8 from the field, but got it done at the free throw line, sinking 12-of-16. She also added four assists and two steals. Elam sank 5-of-15, include three 3-pointers, and added three rebounds and two steals. Senior Whitney Lindsay scored nine points and added a game-high five steals to go along with four assists.
The Hoosiers outshot the Seawolves 35.8 percent (19-of-53) to 30.8 percent (16-of-52) from the field, but were outrebounded, 41-40. IU also forced Alaska-Anchorage into committing 31 turnovers.
NOTING THE 2009-10 SEASON
WHAT BRAUN DID FOR IU
Jamie Braun recorded an outstanding career at Indiana and owns 1,603 career points, 691 rebounds, 378 assists and 223 steals. Braun ranks seventh all-time in scoring in the IU record book, and ranks four in steals and assists and 10th in rebounds She is a two-time All-Big Ten honoree and was the 2007 Big Ten Sixth Player of the Year. Braun averaged 12.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and recorded 91 assists and 53 steals during her senior campaign.
REACHING 1,000
Jori Davis became the 22nd Hoosier to score 1,000 career points as a Hoosier at the 11:03 mark in the second half against Penn State on Sunday, Feb. 28. She is the third player under IU head coach Felisha Legette-Jack to reach the milestone (Jamie Braun, Whitney Thomas).
STEADY AS SHE GOES
Jori Davis was a steady force for the Hoosiers in 2009-10, scoring in double-digit points in 26 of IU's 30 games, with a high of 33 against Virginia on Nov. 26. She led the Hoosiers on the season with 16.7 points per game and ranked fifth among the Big Ten on the season. In conference games, Davis also ranked fifth with 16.4 points per contest.
TINY BUT MIGHTY
Whitney Lindsay may stand 5-7, but IU's point guard made the most of her abilities in 2009-10. In 30 games, Lindsay averaged 7.4 points, 3.1 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game.
ALL FLORIDA FRONTCOURT
Fellow Floridians Danilsa Andujar and Sasha Chaplin made their debut in IU's frontcourt on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010 at Wisconsin. Andujar joined the Hoosier starting lineup when Chaplin suffered an injury that forced her to miss IU's last 10 games. Since her return against the Badgers, Chaplin averaged 8.7 points and 6.3 rebounds in IU's last six games, while Andujar has averaged 2.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
BENCH PRODUCTION
The Indiana bench produced 15.8 points per game during the season. In five games, IU's reserves have combined for 30-plus points, including a 32-point effort against Penn State on Feb. 28.

HOOSIER UPEND NO. 4 OHIO STATE
Behind four Hoosiers scoring in double-digits and 12 rebounds from Danilsa Andujar, the Indiana women's basketball team upended No. 4 Ohio State, 67-62, on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, in Assembly Hall. The win was IU's second over a top-five team in program history and the fifth over a top-10 team.
