Indiana-Villanova Game Delayed by Rain

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Indiana's game against Villanova on Saturday has been pushed back to a 1 p.m. start due to inclement weather in the greater Tampa area. CollegeBaseball360.com will have live streaming video of the game. Stay tuned to IUHoosiers.com for the latest.
Trailing 6-1 in the second inning, the Indiana baseball team rallied for nine straight runs and stranded the bases loaded in the ninth inning to post a 10-8 win over West Virginia (0-4) on Friday. Jerrud Sabourin had four hits for the Hoosiers (2-3) and Brian Lambert scored three runs and had a pair of brilliant defensive plays in center field to lead IU to the victory.
Lambert, Sterling Mack and Tyler Rogers each posted two hits for Indiana, while Alex Dickerson had a pair of RBI. Mike McKinley pitched 2 1/3 innings of perfect relief to collect the win and improve to 1-0 for IU. Closer Chris Squires pitched the ninth to finish off the victory for the Hoosiers.
IU will finish off the weekend with a 10 a.m. contest against Connecticut on Sunday at the Naimoli Complex. Live stats and audio are available for all contests at IUHoosiers.com.
