IU Field Hockey Opens Spring Season Saturday with Louisville

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana field hockey team opens its spring scrimmage season on Saturday, March 27, when it plays host to Louisville at 1 p.m. ET at the IU Hockey Field.
During the 2009 season, the Hoosiers finished with a record of 14-7 after advancing to the Big Ten Tournament Championship game and the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
IU will also scrimmage against Miami (OH), Ohio and Ohio State in the Midwest Spring League Tournament on April 3 in Oxford, Ohio. The Hoosiers will meet the Redhawks and Bobcats again, along with Michigan State, on April 10 in Louisville, before returning to Oxford to scrimmage Miami, MSU and Michigan on April 17.
The spring season concludes on April 18 when the Hoosiers host their Alumni Game at 12:30 p.m. ET.
