Volleyball Starts Spring Schedule At Munciana Club

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - IU Volleyball is headed north to Yorktown, Ind., this Saturday for the 2010 Munciana Collegiate Invite. It marks the first of four consecutive weekends in which the Hoosiers will be in action.
Eight teams are set to compete in the pool-formatted event. Indiana is in Pool A and will play matches against Kentucky, Michigan State and Indianapolis during the round-robin session. Based on how the Hoosiers fare in the round-robin, they will then be matched up against a team from Pool B that finished in the same pool position for one final "crossover" contest. Indiana's schedule looks like this:
9 a.m.- Indiana vs. Kentucky
Noon- Indiana vs. Michigan State
1 p.m.- Indiana vs. Indianapolis
3 or 4 p.m.- Crossover match (opponent TBA)
Each match will consist of two 25-point sets in pool play, and then a best-of-three sets for the crossover match with the third set going to just 15 points.
