Mentzer, Muhammad on Spring Practice

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Sophomore defensive tackle Mick Mentzer and junior wide receiver Dre Muhammad are showcasing their talents this spring. The duo from Fort Wayne visited with IUHoosiers.com following Tuesday afternoon's practice.

Mentzer saw time in all 12 games at defensive tackle in 2009. He closed out the season with 16 tackles, eight solo, a half-tackle for loss and one pass breakup.
Muhammad played in five games at wide receiver and on special teams last season. He saw action at Akron, at Virginia, vs. No. 24 Wisconsin, at No. 19 Penn State and vs. Purdue.
All practices will be held at Memorial Stadium, weather permitting. IU's remaining spring schedule is listed below:
