Hoosiers Keep It Coming in Third Spring Competition

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - IU Volleyball had another successful weekend on the courts, going 2-0-1 in the 3rd annual Indianapolis Collegiate Invite, hosted by the Circle City volleyball club.
The Hoosiers opened with a match against one of the top D-II programs in the country, the University of Indianapolis (38-2 record in 2009). Indiana topped the Greyhounds in three sets, 25-17, 25-27, 15-9. The Hoosiers then swept Butler in their second match of the day, 25-21, 25-19.
A third in-state foe, Purdue, awaited IU in the final contest of the competition. After splitting the first two sets 25-23, 21-25, the match was called a draw with the same two teams facing each other next weekend in Purdue's spring tournament.
