Hoosiers Continue Spring Season with IUPUI Wednesday Night

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana men's soccer team continues its slate of spring matches as it takes on regional foe IUPUI Wednesday night at 7 p.m. on Jerry Yeagley Field at Armstrong Stadium. Admission is free.
The Hoosiers are 1-0-1 this spring with a 2-1 win over Louisville on March 28, and a 1-1 tie with Cincinnati on April 9. Sophomore forward Will Bruin has tallied two goals and an assist, while redshirt freshman Joe Tolen has a goal and an assist. Head coach Todd Yeagley continues to experiment with different lineups in his first spring as head coach as the team prepares for a challenging schedule in the fall.
IUPUI was 5-11-3 last season and return leading scorer Perez Agaba. The teams also met last spring which resulted in a scoreless tie in the 60-minute match.
This will be the final home spring match prior to the April 27 exhibition against the U-21 Mexican National Team. Start time is 7 p.m. for the international friendly on Jerry Yeagley Field at Armstrong Stadium, and tickets can be purchased by calling 1-866-IUSPORTS (487-7678). Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for youths/IU students. A valid ID is required.
