Senior Weekend for IU Women's Tennis

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Lindsey Stuckey and Maria Guerreiro will play in front of the home crowd for the last time in their Hoosier careers this weekend as No. 38 Indiana (13-6, 3-3) wraps up the 2010 home schedule with matches against Penn State (4-14, 0-6) and No. 32 Ohio State (16-6, 3-3).
Indiana is set to face the Nittany Lions on Saturday (Apr. 17) and the Buckeyes on Sunday (Apr. 18). will be available for both 11 a.m. contests.
Each opponent has a player ranked in the national singles rankings. Ohio State's Kirsten Flower is slotted No. 69 and Petra Januskova of Penn State is the 80th-ranked singles player in the country.

Lindsey Stuckey
Enters the weekend with 90 career singles wins and 75 doubles victories ... led the team in singles wins as a freshman (27), junior (19) and is currently just one win shy of Evgeniya Vertesheva for the team lead this season with 22 ... when paired with Vertesheva on the doubles court, they form the No. 68th-ranked duo in the country according to the latest ITA national rankings with their 13-3 record together ... has really stepped it up as a senior, posting a combined record of 45-17 thus far in 2009-10 (22-9 singles, 23-8, doubles) ... has started every dual match the past two seasons while also getting it done in the classroom, evidenced by her pair of selections to the Academic All-Big Ten squad ... her 6-1, 6-2 besting of Louisville's Robyn White was vital in IU's 4-3 win over the Cardinals in the first round of the 2008 NCAA Championships ... Lindsey is the daughter of Thomas and Dianna Stuckey and is majoring in Finance.
