Men's Golf Hosts Crooked Stick Invitational April 19-20

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University men's golf team will host the Crooked Stick Invitational on Apr. 19-20 at the Crooked Stick Golf Course in Carmel, Ind. Live scoring can be viewed by clicking here.
The 12-team playing field will include: Ball State, Butler, Illinois, Indiana, IUPUI, Middle Tennessee State, Minnesota, Purdue, SIU-Edwardsville, Wichita State, Wisconsin and Xavier. A trio of top-60 teams are in the competition with Illinois, MTSU and IU ranked No. 19, No. 41 and No. 57, respectively.
Competition is set to begin on Monday, Apr. 19 at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start and 36 holes of continuous play. The tournament will then wrap up on Tuesday, Apr. 20 with a split tee start (9 a.m.) and the final round of the 54-hole event.

Crooked Stick Golf Course is one of, if not, the finest courses in the state of Indiana. Crooked Stick has served as the host site for numerous major events, most recently, the 2009 U.S. Senior Open. The 1993 U.S. Women's Open and 1991 PGA Championships are just a pair of other elite events played on Crooked Stick. In 2012, the BMW Championship will call Crooked Stick home.
