Hoosiers Conclude Spring Slate

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana field hockey team concluded the spring slate with two wins over Miami (Ohio) and Michigan State in the final weekend of the Midwest Spring League Tournament in Oxford, Ohio, before falling to Michigan in the final game.
The Hoosiers opened Saturday, April 17 with a 1-0 win over the host RedHawks as junior Kelsey Kiper scored the lone IU goal. In game two, redshirt freshman Morgan Fleetwood netted two goals, while junior Lena Grote scored one goal in a 3-0 win over the Spartans. In the final game, the Hoosiers suffered a 4-1 loss to the Wolverines with freshman Shareyna Chang scoring on a corner.
Indiana ended the spring season with a 5-2-3 record.
