Northbound Hoosiers Headed for Big Ten Championship

MAPLE PLAIN, Minn. - Postseason play for the Indiana University men's golf team begins on Friday, Apr. 30 at the 2010 Big Ten Championship, hosted by the University of Minnesota at the Windsong Farm Golf Club (par-71, 7,346 yards).
The conference championship is a 72-hole event with 36 holes scheduled for Friday, followed by single rounds on Saturday and Sunday. Tee times are set for 8 a.m. on Friday and Sunday, 9 a.m. for Saturday's round.
The Hoosiers will be teeing off the front nine immediately at 8 a.m. CT, paired up with Penn State in twosomes.

Indiana's line-up will consist of senior captain Alex Martin at the top in the No. 1 position, sophomores David Erdy and Chase Wright manning the No. 2 and 3 slots, respectively, while a pair of freshmen in Brant Peaper (No. 4) and Corey Ziedonis (No. 5) complete the Hoosier line-up.
The Hoosiers finished third at last season's Big Tens with two top-10 individual finishes, Jorge Campillo in sixth and Martin tied for 10th place. Indiana has won eight team titles in program history. Two Hoosiers have brought home individual crowns under Head Coach Mike Mayer (Campillo and Jeff Overton). A total of eight Hoosiers have earned individual championships.
