Volleyball Set for Three Big Ten Network Broadcasts

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Volleyball will take the national stage at least three times during the 2009 season, scheduled for three Big Ten Network match broadcasts. Both contests against Purdue (Sept. 22; Nov. 10) will be shown from coast to coast, as well as, the Hoosiers' home match versus Michigan State on Saturday, Oct. 23.
The battle with the Boilermakers not only opens the conference slate for IU, it will also be the first volleyball match broadcast on the BTN during the 2010 campaign. The rivalry match is set for a 7 p.m. start.
University Gym will host the BTN once again on Oct. 23 when the Spartans of Michigan State come to Bloomington for an 8 p.m. contest.
Lastly, the Monon Spike Trophy will be on the line in the Hoosiers' third nationally-televised match. Indiana and Purdue will take the court on Wednesday, Nov. 10 with first serve coming at 7 p.m. in West Lafayette.
