BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - It was a busy weekend for the Indiana women's basketball staff, beginning with a visit by head coach Felisha Legette-Jack at IU's Kelley School of Business on Thursday, Aug. 26, and visits by the staff to RecFest at IU's HPER, Spirit and Traditions at Memorial Stadium and Wal-Mart's Back-to-School Midnight Madness on Friday, Aug. 27.
Coach Jack spent time on Thursday speaking to a group of business students at the Kelley School of Business on how being a coach gives her the opportunity to develop high performing athletes and how she is able to motivate, inspire and guide players to success.
On Friday, the entire staff spent time at RecFest at IU's HPER, where new students were able to learn more about Campus Recreation while enjoying fun activities. The staff also participated IU's annual Spirit and Traditions at Memorial Stadium where Coach Jack addressed the freshmen class, along with Indiana head men's basketball coach Tom Crean and head football coach Bill Lynch.
Finally, on Friday night, the staff spent time at Wal-Mart's Back-to-School Midnight Madness where IU and Bloomington welcome students back to campus.
