Hureau Ranked Nationally in Preseason

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Sophomore Leslie Hureau is slotted 93rd in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's preseason national singles rankings. She was one of 12 players in the country to be named an ITA Regional Rookie of the Year following her freshman campaign, earning the award for the Ohio Valley Region.

Hureau posted an overall singles record of 25-11 in her rookie season, playing in either the No. 1 or No. 2 position for all matches. Her performance on the court earned her a spot on the 13-member All-Big Ten team and ranked her as high as No. 101 nationally.

Hureau and the rest of the Indiana Women's Tennis team get the 2010-11 slate started on Sept. 24-26 when they host the 2011 Hoosier Classic. Cincinnati, Kansas State, LSU, Miami (OH) and Murray State are the scheduled competition for this event.
