Shae Fournier
Attacker
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Fournier was named Manitoba High School Water Polo MVP in four consecutive seasons (2006-2009). She also earned the 2008 and 2009 Athlete of the Year award. Fournier helped lead her team to Provincial Championships in three consecutive years (2007-2009). Fournier plans to major in psychology. She is the daughter of Donna Fournier. She has two brothers, Ashton and Taryn, and one sister, Bree.
Coach King on Fournier:
"Shae is a very gifted offensive athlete. We're looking for her to contribute shooting-wise, to put some pressure on defenses. It gives us another option. I thought as a group we were much improved offensively and much more balanced and she just adds one more really dangerous piece for us. She had some great experience over the summer with the Canadian Junior National team. She won a gold medal at the Pan American Games. I think the depth that she brings to the group will be really valuable."
