IU Hosts Hoosier Classic, Play Begins Friday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University women's tennis team opens the 2010-11 season at home, hosting the 2010 Hoosier Classic from Sept. 24-26 at the IU Varsity Tennis Courts. All eight Hoosiers are expected to be in action, playing both singles and doubles.
There are four visiting schools competing in the event: Cincinnati, Kansas State, LSU and Miami (OH).
Round one of singles play begins on Friday at 10:30 a.m., followed by two rounds of doubles starting at approximately 2 p.m. The tournament set up will be four singles flights consisting of eight participants each, a 16-team doubles draw and some round-robin play in both singles and doubles.
