• Indiana held Michigan to 15 points in the first half, the fewest points IU has allowed in a half this season and the fewest for the Wolverines in a half this year. The last time the Hoosiers held an opponent to 15 points in a half came against Purdue on Jan. 31, 2002. Indiana entered the locker room with a 34-15 advantage.
• The Hoosiers limited the Wolverines to just 23.8 percent from the floor on 5-of-21 shooting. It is the lowest percentage by a Hoosier defense since Bryant shot 22.2 percent in the first half on Dec. 29, 2009.
• Michigan shot 36.4 percent (20-of-55) for the game, the lowest percentage for an opponent in Head Coach Tom Crean's three seasons at Indiana.
• IU shot 67.4 percent on the evening, its highest total since hitting at a 70.2 clip vs. Wisconsin on Feb. 24, 2001. Indiana hit a blistering 70.8 percent in the second half, the first time a Hoosier team has hit 70 percent in a half since Nov. 26, 2008 vs. Chaminade (70.4 in the first half). The Hoosiers have recorded over 60 percent in a half eight times this season.
• Indiana picked up its 100th win in the all-time series against Michigan. The Hoosiers lead the all-time series, 100-54. IU has now won 13 of its last 14 games against Michigan in Bloomington.
• In the first half, Indiana was 12-of-19 (62.5 percent) from the floor but had six offensive rebounds. IU held a 17-6 edge on the glass overall in the opening stanza and a 37-18 advantage in the ballgame. The 19-rebound margin is tied for the Hoosiers' second-largest margin this year.
• Indiana recorded the first eight rebounds of the game.
* The Hoosiers reached 80 percent from the free throw line for the third straight game, hitting 16-of-20 (80.0 percent), including all 10 in the final 2:18. IU made 10-of-12 free throws at Minnesota and 21-of-25 against Northwestern for a combined 47-of-57 (82.5 percent) over the last three games. * IU held a 28-20 edge in the paint, a 10-8 advantage in second-chance points and a 16-6 edge in bench points. • The Hoosiers started guards Jordan Hulls, Jeremiah Rivers and Verdell Jones III along with forwards Christian Watford and Tom Pritchard for the first time this season.
• Pritchard made his first start since the Savannah State game on Dec. 4 and his ninth overall in 2010-11.
• Watford posted his third double-double of the season and the seventh of his career with 17 points and 10 rebounds. The sophomore hit all six of his free throws and shot 5-of-11 from the floor in 32 minutes. Watford has made his last 12 free throws and has had eight perfect games from the foul line this season.
• Jones finished with a game-high 24 points with four rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes. He hit 9 of his 10 shots en route to his 49th double-digit scoring game, his 10th of the year, his third 20-point game of the season and the 16th of his career. Jones now needs 11 points to become the 42nd player in IU history to reach 1,000 points.
• Hulls was perfect from the floor as he posted 13 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal in a team-high 35 minutes. The sophomore was 4-of-4, including 3-of-3 from downtown, and 2-of-2 from the foul line. Hulls has scored in double figures 17 times in his career, 10 times this year and in six straight games.
