Indiana Cross Country Competes Twice This Weekend

adidas Invitational/Pre Nationals Preview 
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana cross country teams will compete in two events this weekend beginning with the Wisconsin adidas Classic in Madison, Wis. on Friday, Oct. 14, beginning at 1 p.m. CT/2 p.m. ET. The second meet of the weekend is the Pre National Invitational hosted by Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind. on Sunday, Oct. 16, with the first race slated for 11 a.m. ET.
The adidas Invite will feature a women's 6K race and a men's 8K race at Wisconsin's Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course. This is the third year for the event and will feature 40 men's teams and 41 women's teams.
The Pre Nationals will take place at Indiana State's LaVern Gibson Championship Course. The races for Sunday's meet also feature a women's 6K and men's 8K. Terre Haute is also the location of this year's NCAA Championships on Nov. 21 for the eighth consecutive year.
