Hoosiers Battle in Loss to No. 9 Penn State

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Volleyball (8-11, 0-8) fell to the ninth-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions (14-6, 4-3) in three sets (18-25, 16-25, 21-25). The Hoosiers were led by juniors Kelci Marschall and Samantha Thrower, who both led the team with six kills. Marschall led the way with seven digs and Thrower had a team-high six blocks.
Thrower hit .333 on the match with six kills on 12 swings. The Hoosiers had nine blocks on the match. Whitney Granado had 16 assists and added two service aces and five digs.
