Hoosiers Fall in Semifinal Action at ITA Regionals

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Indiana men's tennis saw a great run at the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships come to an end on Sunday with Josh MacTaggart and two doubles pairs falling in semifinal action.
MacTaggart defeated Ben Davis of Middle Tennessee State in the quarters, taking a 6-3, 6-4 win. He then fell to Kentucky's Eric Quigley, the top overall seed in the semis. Quigley won 6-2, 6-3. In doubles, MacTaggart and Stephen Vogl fell to Mikelis Libietis and Hunter Reese of Tennessee in the semifinals by an 8-5 tally.
Jeremy Langer and Isade Juneau also fell in the semifinals. Quigley and Alex Musialek of Kentucky rallied from a hot start by the Hoosiers to take the win. Langer and Juneau won the first five games before the Wildcats stormed back for an 8-6 victory.
