Indiana Men's Tennis is at the Big Ten Singles Championships on Iowa's campus this weekend. Six IU players will vie for the Big Ten Singles Trophy. IU heads to the meet with a former champion in tow. Junior Josh MacTaggart, ranked No. 55 in the ITA Preseason Rankings, won the tournament as a freshman in 2009.
MacTaggart and No. 106 Jeremy Langer are both returning as All-Big Ten players from a season ago. MacTaggart advanced to the semifinals of the tournament in 2010. IU is coming off a stellar weekend at the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships. Two Hoosier doubles tandems advanced to semifinal action, and MacTaggart went to the semis in singles play.
