WEEKEND INFO
Indiana (9-6, 2-3) wraps up the regular season on Friday, Oct. 28, when it travels to No. 7 Michigan (12-4, 4-1). The Wolverines lead the all-time series with the Hoosiers, 9-3, with IU winning two of the last three meetings.
FINISHING UP THE REGULAR SEASON
Indiana will travel to Ann Arbor for its final game of the regular season against No. 7 Michigan at 4 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 28. The Hoosiers head into the regular season finale looking for their 10th win overall and third Big Ten victory. Michigan heads into Friday's game winning six of its last seven games, including a three-game win streak in league action. The Wolverines are led by Rachael Mack with 11 goals, while Emy Guttman owns 10 on the season.
IU SPLITS FINAL NON-CON WEEKEND
Indiana split its final non-conference weekend, beating Providence, 6-2, on Saturday, Oct. 22 and falling to Louisville, 1-0, on Sunday, Oct. 23, with both games being played in Louisville. Against Providence, Jaclyn Zamudio led the Hoosiers with hat trick, while Morgan Fleetwood scored two goals and Emily Bowker scored one goal in the win.
TEAM ASSIST-ANT
Senior forward Katie Griswold became IU's single-season assists record holder with an assist at Iowa on Oct. 15 and leads the Hoosiers with 12 on the season. She ranks third in the Big Ten and is second on the Indiana career list at 27, nine behind record-holder Meredith Brown (2004-07).
RECORD WATCH
Morgan Fleetwood has made her mark in the IU record book and continues to take over several categories. Heading into the final weekend of the season, Fleetwood ranks second in career goals with 30 (Lydia Schrott-41, 2003-06), second in career game-winning goals with eight (Schrott-14), second in single-season game-winning goals with four (Schrott-6, 2005) and third in single-season goals with 11 (Schrott-17, 2005).
RANKING THE B1G
All seven Big Ten teams are among the top 35 in this week's NCAA RPI report, with Indiana ranking No. 22. Michigan leads the league at No. 8, with Penn State (No. 9), Iowa, (No. 10), Ohio State (No. 16), Northwestern (No. 24) and Michigan State (No. 33) following.
100 AND COUNTING
Head coach Amy Robertson tallied her 100th career win as the Hoosiers beat Ball State, 4-0, on Saturday, Sept. 3. In her 12th season at Indiana, Robertson owns a 106-112 mark.
HOOSIER NOTABLES
• Morgan Fleetwood became IU's career shots leader in IU's win over Northwestern. Fleetwood's third shot broke the record of 178 set by Olympian Kayla Bashore (2001-05). Her career tally is now 206.
• Fleetwood, Katie Griswold and Brenna Moeljadi are among Big Ten Players to Watch for the 2011 season, announced by the league on Aug. 24.
• Griswold and Moeljadi are the team captains for the 2011 squad.
