Zeller Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Freshman Cody Zeller earned his second-straight Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor, announced by the league office on Monday, Nov. 21.

Zeller averaged 18.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game to help Indiana to victories over Evansville and Savannah State last week. He shot 85.7 percent from the field and currently ranks second in the conference, shooting 82.6 percent on the season.

Zeller and the Hoosiers continue the Hoosier Invitational when they play host to Gardner-Webb at 6:30 p.m. ET in Assembly Hall on Monday night. The game will be aired live on the Big Ten Network and will also be available on the IU Radio Network, Sirius 128 and XM 190.
