IUXC Hosts Hoosier Invitational on Friday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana cross country will host its final home meet of the season with the Hoosier Invitational on Friday, Nov. 4. Championship season is in full swing and this year's invite will be used to determine who will run as the seventh participant in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional for both men's and women's teams.
The meet will begin at 3:30 p.m. ET at the IU Championship Cross Country Course and will feature a women's 5K and a men's 8K. Other schools sending competitors include Toledo, Wabash College, Indiana State, Ohio State, Illinois, Rodney Community College (Ohio),Ohio, and Nebraska
The men's team continues to be ranked in the nation's top-10, currently sitting at No. 7 heading into the weekend. Beyond the Hoosier Invite, IU will compete in the Great Lakes Regional on Saturday, Nov. 12 in Toledo, Ohio and qualifying teams will then move on to the NCAA Championships taking place on Monday, Nov. 21, in Terre Haute, Ind.
