Close The Gap Crossroads Classic Sold Out for Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS - The first annual Close The Gap Crossroads Classic college basketball doubleheader, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 17 at Conseco Fieldhouse, is officially a sellout. The two-game slate features four in-state schools in the first of a two-year agreement, with both games carried on national television.
Game one of the doubleheader matches perennial Big Ten Conference power Purdue (9-2) against two-time national finalist Butler (4-6). The game airs live on CBS beginning at 2 p.m., with Ian Eagle and Bill Raftery calling the action.
Game two features unbeaten No. 18/20 Indiana (9-0) against Notre Dame (7-4) in a live telecast on ESPN2, featuring the Hoosiers in their first contest since upsetting No. 1-ranked Kentucky, 73-72, last Saturday. Dan Shulman and Dick Vitale call the play-by-play. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
Doors open to the public at 1 p.m.
