Lady Puerto Rico Classic - Final Results 
RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico - Led by a top-10 finish from freshman Lindsay Gahm, the Indiana women's golf team moved up two more spots to finish 14th at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic at Rio Mar Country Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
Top-ranked Alabama won the tournament with a 54-hole score of 875. The Crimson Tide's Stephanie Meadow was the individual medalist with a score of 212. Iowa State finished second (880), followed by Florida State (891), Purdue (896) and Georgia (907).
Indiana posted its lowest round of the tournament on Tuesday with a 305 to finish at 932 (319-308-305).
"We played better today," said head coach Clint Wallman. "We still put up some big numbers and that hurt, but it was a better job all the way around. I am encouraged by what we did today and look to improve down in Florida next week."
Gahm posted her third-straight top-10 finish, placing tied for seventh with a three-round score of 220. She posted an even-par 72 on Tuesday to go with rounds of 75 and 73. Gahm has been a top-10 finisher in three of four tournaments played this year.
"Lindsay played well and is emerging as one of the best in college golf," Wallman said. "She has a good game and a good head on her shoulders. I expect more great things to come."
All five Hoosier golfers posted rounds in the 70s on Tuesday, including a 79 from junior Kristtini Cain to finish tied for 59th. Cain added to her scores of 81 and 76 for a total of 236. Two strokes behind was senior Cecilia Orevik who finished tied for 71st with a score of 238. Orevik shot a tournament-best 78 on Tuesday after scores of 81 and 79.
Sophomore Rosie Davies tied for 75th with a 77 on Tuesday giving her a tally of 239 (82-80-77). Tied for 79th was sophomore Kate Coons who posted a 78 today (82-80-78/240).
Indiana is back in action Feb. 21-22 at the Central District Invitational, hosted by Michigan State in Parrish, Fla.
