Hoosiers Defeat Ball State at Big Red Shootout

NAPLES, Fla. -
The Indiana men's golf team opened the spring season with a 9.5 to 2.5 victory against Ball State at the Big Red Shootout on Saturday at Grey Oaks Country Club. The Hoosiers took the early 5-1 lead after the morning session of the match play competition and never looked back.
"We played very well and I was pleased with how we competed," said Indiana head coach Mike Mayer. "We hit some great golf shots out there today."
