IU Field Hockey Recognized by NFHCA for Academic Success

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana field hockey team was recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association as one of 57 programs to record a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Hoosiers, who were one of six Big Ten teams honored, also boasted eight players on the 2010 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
IU's list includes freshman Gaby Olshemski, sophomore Hannah Boyer, juniors Morgan Fleetwood and Becky Pany, and seniors Katie Griswold, Lena Grote, Kelsey Kiper and Jaclyn Milici.
Indiana opens the spring season on Saturday, March 26, when it plays host to Ball State, Louisville and Miami (Ohio) at the IU Field Hockey Complex.
