Hoosiers Set to Host adidas Hoosier Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -
The Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team (No. 34 Golfweek-Sagarin/No. 35 Golfstat) hosts the adidas Hoosier Invitational this weekend (Apr. 9-10) at the IU Championship Golf Course in Bloomington.
The event is scheduled for 54 holes, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Saturday with a continuous 36 holes of play. The final round will begin on Sunday with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.

THE VENUE
The Indiana University Championship Golf Course is a par-71 (36-35) that plays at 6,813 yards, with a course rating of 72.6 and a slope of 132.
THE FIELD
The 15-team field will consist of Ball State, Butler, Cleveland State, Detroit Mercy, Evansville, George Washington, Indiana, Indiana `B', Iowa State, IPFW, IUPUI, Marquette, Oakland, Wright State, and Youngstown State.
HOOSIER INVITATIONAL HISTORY
This marks the fifth year of the event as the Hoosiers hosted the tournament in 2003, 2008, 2009, and 2010. Indiana has won the team title three times, including each of the past two seasons.

There is no live scoring for the event. Results will be posted at the conclusion of each round.
