IU Wins Again, Tops No. 20 Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - For the third straight week, the Hoosiers have knocked off a top-20 opponent, defeating No. 20 Minnesota 4-3. The win keeps the Hoosiers unbeaten in the Big Ten this season at 6-0. Much like in their win over Illinois, the Hoosiers battled back from losing the doubles point for the win. Number one player Jeremy Langer had a big day, remaining unbeaten in doubles with Santiago Gruter and taking the win in singles.
Langer and Gruter took down Brendan Ruddock and Phillip Arndt at one doubles by an 8-2 tally, bu the Hoosiers fell in the other two doubles matches, giving Minnesota an early 1-0 lead.
No. 108 Josh MacTaggart remained unbeaten at number three singles since Big Ten play began, taking down Ruddock easily, 6-1, 6-1. Stephen Vogl came through at number six to move to 5-1 in Big Ten singles action, taking out Juan Pablo Ramirez 6-2, 6-2.
Langer defeated Rok Bonin at number one by a 6-4, 7-5 final tally, and Isade Juneau closed it out with the win at number five. He moves to 5-1 in Big Ten play with a 7-6, 3-6, 6-1 win over Julian Dehn.
