Big Ten Network Announces Men's Soccer Broadcast Schedule

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana men's soccer team will make at least two appearances on the Big Ten Network this fall with the complete schedule released Friday.
The Hoosiers will first take to the airwaves with the Oct. 15 match at Michigan. The game will air on a tape-delay basis on Sunday, Oct. 16 at noon ET. Indiana's regular-season finale will also get the broadcast treatment with the Nov. 5 home match vs. Ohio State being broadcast tape-delay on Sunday, Nov. 6 at noon ET.
Indiana will have several other chances to appear on the Network in 2011. The BTN will broadcast one wildcard match, with the teams to be determined at a later date. Also the semifinal matches of the Big Ten Tournament on Nov. 11 will be show live at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. ET. The championship match will also be shown live on Sunday, Nov. 13 at noon ET. This year's Big Ten Tournament is being held at the University of Michigan.
In addition, the Hoosiers' home matches on Oct. 5 vs. Louisville (7:30 p.m. ET), Oct. 19 vs. Kentucky (7 p.m. ET) and Michigan State (2 p.m. ET) will be shown live on BigTenNetwork.com. All remaining IU home matches will be streamed live on IUHoosiers.com.
The 2011 season gets underway for the Hoosiers on Aug. 27 when they travel to in-state rival Notre Dame. Prior to that the Hoosiers will play two exhibition matches on Friday, Aug. 19 vs. Duke and Sunday, Aug. 21 vs. Xavier. Both matches will take place at the ShinDigZ National Soccer Festival in Fort Wayne, Ind.
