BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Volleyball held the annual Cream and Crimson Scrimmage on Saturday, and the Crimson squad came out on top, winning all of the three tightly-contested sets, 25-23, 25-22 and 15-13. Prior to the scrimmage, IU's assistant coaches held a rules clinic, teaching Hoosiers fans the ins and outs of the game of volleyball. The event provided IU with the final tune-up before the regular season starts next weekend.
The Hoosiers will open the season on Fri., Aug. 26 against High Point. The match opens the Hokie Classic, a tournament hosted by Virginia Tech that sees IU play Cleveland State and the host Hokies on Saturday. Coverage will be available on IUHoosiers.com.
