BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University junior golfer Pamela Burneski won her third-straight Tamarack Golf Tournament at the Clear Lake Golf Course in Wasagaming, Manitoba, Canada.
"It feels great and winning three in a row may be a record now," said Burneski. "Maybe I will get my name in the record books."
Burneski's third-straight victory ties a tournament record and it is her fifth overall in the last seven years. She defeated Sarah Stebeleski 2-and-1 in Saturday's championship matchup.
"It was going to take more than par to win," Burneski said. "I just stayed patient like I was all week and that pulled me through. I stayed out of trouble and just played smart. I made pars and hoped it would take birdie to beat me."
