MELBOURNE, Australia - Former Indiana standout Nicole Redder will compete for the Melbourne Collegians Water Polo Club during the summer season in Australia.
Redder, a 2011 Indiana graduate and the fourth leading scorer in Hoosier water polo history, is one of three recent additions to the Collegians roster. She joins Kandis Canonica (Bucknell University) and Dara Tawarhara (University of Pacific) as the three newcomers to the squad.
A two-time CWPA All-Western Division Second Team honoree, Redder helped lead the Hoosiers to an overall record of 88-56 during her four seasons in Bloomington. She finished with career totals of 182 goals and 224 steals.
In 2011, the Grandvile, Mich. native competed in all 39 contests and started 36 games during the Hoosiers' impressive run to the NCAA Championship. Redder ended her senior campaign with 21 multi-goal performances, including two goals in each of Indiana's three games at the NCAA Championship.
Redder also garnered the 2011 Aline Robinson Mental Attitude Award and earned a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten team.
