BACK ON THE ROAD
Indiana will head back out on the road this week to take on UC Davis in Oxford, Ohio on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 4 p.m. ET. The Hoosiers lead the Aggies, 1-0, in the all-time series after beating them in Evanston last season, 1-0. Then IU will travel to Athens, Ohio to take on the Bobcats at 12 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 18. Ohio leads the series, 2-4, winning 2-1 in Bloomington last season.
GOING BACK TO CALI
Indiana's trip to the West Coast was a bit of a bump in the road for the Hoosiers, falling in both contests at No. 9 Stanford (3-2) and at No. 11 California (3-1). All IU goals were scored by California residents, however. Jaclyn Zamudio (Los Gatos) netted both Indiana goals at Stanford and Katie Griswold (Solana Beach) scored IU's lone goal in Berkeley.
RANKING IN THE B1G
IU is tied for first among Big Ten schools in shutouts (2), ranks second in scoring margin (1.29) and assists (17), and third in scoring average (2.75) and goals scored (17).
100 AND COUNTING
Head coach Amy Robertson tallied her 100th career win as the Hoosiers beat Ball State, 4-0, on Saturday, Sept. 3. In her 12th season at Indiana, Robertson owns a 101-108 mark.
HOOSIERS IN THE POLL
Indiana dropped out of the top 20 this week after receiving 93 votes in the Kookaburra/NFHCA Coaches poll. The Hoosiers rank No. 15 in this week's womensfieldhockey.com poll.
B1G DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK, x2
Brenna Moeljadi earned her second straight Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honor as she set a new Indiana record with her eighth career defensive save in IU's 4-1 win over Missouri State on Sunday, Sept. 4. Moeljadi earned the same honor the previous week for tying the career mark. Her offensive efforts have been huge for IU, as well, as she netted three goals against Ball State and Missouri State.
